Entertaining at a tongue in cheek teenage level. Plot of course lacks real depth. Action sequences are well done and add to entertainment value. If one wants to see a movie based on comics and expects an attentiveness to comic book humor, this does the job.
Oh man what a great movie, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was much better than the first. The fight scenes were top notch and that evil elf dude was one of the coolest movie characters I've seen in a long time.
Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, and Doug Jones are back in the movie Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The movie Is a sequel to the (2004) Hellboy film. I love the first one and I knew I would Love this one. I was not disapointed. I liked this one more than the first one. I give Hellboy II: The Golden Army 3 stars.
I was disappointed. I was so excited for this movie, but it definately did not live up to my expectations. The first was better.
Better than the 1st one, but i think my movie will be better.....
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
Well, I really really wanted to like this movie. I LOVED the first one so I should have loved this one even more but I am afraid it was boring and overbearing. The first half was great but then we got into that love gone bad story and his battle with the bad guys seemed to be secondary. I would have either liked to explore his angst or focused on the villians. They relied too heavily on special effects I think. Go, you may not agree with me but I am disappointed and I expected not to be. :(
Effects on top of Effects!!! If that's what you then Hellboy II delivers with a BANG!!! much better than the first movie. More laughs and more effects than you can imagine!! Ok, the story has been done over and over and over and over and over..... But there was enough action to keep me entertained. Hellboy fan's should appreciate this one more. Hellboy versus The Hulk... now that would be a battle!!
